(Updated 10/24/2022) Sunday Worship Services are at 9 and 11 a.m. We offer In-Sanctuary and Drive-In Church (by request). We have arranged our sanctuary so that those who wish to keep social distance and wear masks in worship may sit in a seperate designated section. All other seating is mask optional. We have resumed congregational singing.
For Drive-In Services, worshippers are asked to enter on Echols Road and follow the direction of ushers to a parking place. The service will originate at the front entrance to the church. Make sure to park facing the front of the church. There are several spots available on the pavement and others on the grass may be utilized if there has not been excessive rain. We ask that you remain in your car. Tune to 89.9 FM on your car radio.
We also offer a recorded video of the service which will be available later in the afternoon on our YouTube Channel, "LanierUMC Sermons". Click Here to Go to LanierUMC Sermons You Tube Channel Now.

Regular Weekly Worship Services
9:00 a.m. Sunday - Service of Holy Communion Every Sunday
11:00 a.m. Sunday - Worship Service - Holy Communion on the 1st Sunday of the Month
Our worship services are a blended style with contemporary praise music and hymns. There are traditional United Methodist worship elements incorporated into the services yet the order of worship is flexible with the leading of the Holy Spirit. Most people dress casually. The pastor doesn’t wear a robe and preaches in a more relaxed style from the stage.
Children are welcomed in all worship services of Lanier Church. Childcare is provided during both worship services for infants through 4 year olds. Our nursery is located at the end of the fellowship hallway. K through fifth graders are encouraged to accompany their families to worship. A special Children’s Moment is a part of our 11:00 service. After the Children’s Moment, they will be led to their designated Children’s Church Classes by Children’s Ministry leaders . Children may be picked up from the classrooms located down the hall following the service.
We hope to see you here!
Holy Communion - On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate Holy Communion (aka. Lord’s Supper, Eucharist). All ages and denominations are welcome to participate in this ritual. We use bread and grape juice to remember Jesus’ last night with his disciples.
Baptisms - We practice infant baptism and adult baptism. This occurs as part of the regular worship service. If you wish to baptize your child or be baptized yourself, please speak with the Pastor about your intentions. If you are already baptized in a Christian denomination, we accept your baptism.
