Lanier UMC - Relay for Life 2010

Our Lanier Survivors have been invited and we would like to reach out to the community – forms are in the Narthex.  Please have filled out and returned ASAP.

 

April 24           LANIER 50-50 FUNDRAISER      11:00AM – 3:00PM

GET THE WORD OUT AND INVITE YOUR NEIGHBORS, FRIENDS, CO-WORKERS~! 

We will be hosting a fundraiser and split the proceeds between LUMC RELAY For Life and LUMC Missions. This event will include a jewelry/craft sale, car wash, cookout, cake walk, bake sale, trunk sale, yard sale and more.  Additional information and sign up sheets are in Narthex.

     

May 14-15 RELAY at Forsyth County Fairgrounds ~!~!

  7:00 pm – Opening Ceremony

  7:30 pm – Survivor Lap

  10:00 pm - Luminary Ceremony

   6:00 am (Saturday morning) – Closing Ceremony

 

Come join us in honoring our Survivors by signing up to walk a lap(s).  Bring your appetite and also bring a lawn chair to chill out and enjoy the live entertainment.  SIGN UP as a team member. Go to  www.forsythrelayforlife.org    On right side of home page you will see purple box labeled "Top Teams".  At the bottom of square click on "View Teams" - that will take you to the complete list.  Scroll down to LANIER UNITED METHODIST CHURCH and click.  Click on the "Join our Team" and follow form instructions – don’t forget to include your t-shirt size.

 

In addition to donating items for the fundraiser, there are some other ways you can help raise money for the LUMC Relay team including:

-          Send a note to your email buddies and let them know you are involved

-          Luminary sale – minimum donation $10.00 ea

-          Rose Bush sale – minimum donation $50.00 ea (keep plant or donate to LUMC landscaping)

-          Collect Donations for laps you will walk during Relay
